Every facial is customized to your particular skin needs on that day, and towards you overall skin care goals. My treatment specialties include adult and teenage acne, aging, and hyperpigmentation. After cleansing the skin to remove makeup, dirt, and impurities your skin will be evaluated under magnification and a specialized treatment plan will be created.

Chemical peels utilize a variety of plant and fruit acids to address a variety of skin concerns from acne to signs of aging. Peels are customized to meet your skin care goals. Chemical peels are only appropriate for those who are on a good at home regimen and whose skin is “prepped” for a positive peel experience and outcome. Treatments include an at home After Care Kit provided with the service.

After establishing if you are a suitable candidate for a peel, a variety of single or blended acids may be used depending on the goal

• Lactic – derived from milk sugars, hydrates, brightens, exfoliates.
• Trichloroacetic (TCA) – created by a reaction of chlorine and acetic acid, exfoliates, stimulates collagen production, reduces lines, and wrinkles, and promotes even skin tone.
• Vitamin C – derived from citrus fruits to brighten, reduces acne, promotes even skin tone.
• Salicylic – derived from the bark of the willow tree, reduces acne by controlling oil production.
• Glycolic – derived from sugarcane and many fruits, exfoliates, treats acne, increases hydration, treats sun damage, promotes even skin tone, reduces fine lines and wrinkles.
• Mandelic – derived from bitter almonds, evens skin tone, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, improves sun damaged skin, reduces hyperpigmentation from sun, aging, and acne.
• Acetic – derived from vinegar, astringent and antibacterial, exfoliates.
• Kojic – derived from fungi and certain fermented foods, prevents hyperpigmentation.
• Malic – derived from fruits and vegetables, improves skin texture, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, cleanses pores.

Retinol Peels are delivered at 4% (at home products are typically only ~ .5%) and deliver complete skin rejuvenation – brighten, tighten, improve skin texture and overall tone, reduce acne if present, delivering all-over skin rejuvenation. Retinol peels are only appropriate for those who are on a good at home regimen and whose skin is “prepped” for a positive peel experience and outcome. This peel has a longer downtime – typically 7-10 days of shedding. Treatment includes an After Care Kit as well as at home recommendations to maintain results.

Microneedling $225 per area (Face, Neck, Decollete), 70-minute treatment (for a single area, additional areas need additional time)

Collagen induction therapy, also known as microneedling, is a cosmetic procedure that uses tiny needles to puncture the skin to stimulate collagen production. During the procedure, a handheld device with tiny needles makes microscopic punctures in the skin. The body responds by increasing collagen production and releasing growth factors that help repair and heal the skin.

Included with every microneedling session is 30-minutes of Red-Light Therapy to further stimulate collagen production by increasing cellular activity, and an at home After Care Kit.

During any session I may use a variety of modalities – Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Cupping, and Gua Sha – to achieve the best possible results. Each session starts with a brief check-in to discuss what the client is currently feeling and changes since the last session. Typically, there is a postural assessment and often times a movement assessment. Once the client is on the table, I keep the dialog open by check-in on pressure and sensation and ask for feedback. The more communication we have, the better the results. At the end of the session, we will have another check-in on how the body feels and I will often suggest homework to be done to support the bodywork.
